Bob Ruane is a fourth generation San Diegan, and has resided in Mission Beach for over 30 years, where he is an active community member. He was the 2011 and 2012 President of the Mission Beach Town Council. As an active member of the Mission Bay Yacht Club, avid volleyball and over-line player, and surfer, He thoroughly enjoys what Mission Beach has to offer.
